Intense Cold Kills 20 People in Europe and Cause Disorders

In Europe, the cold has killed 20 people and causes much disruption in almost the whole continent. Most of the deaths happened in Italy and Poland. Almost all the victims are homeless. The temperature is below freezing in several countries.

At the weekend, many Polish cities registered – 20 ° C. In Russia it made it even colder: – 30 ° C. The rivers froze in Bosnia. Turkey has suspended shipping on the Bosphorus Strait, a major trading route in Europe.

In Rome, the fountains turned to ice. Even the Greek islands, where winter is usually milder, suffer from the intense cold. The beaches were empty and covered with snow. In the UK, the forecast is for blizzards throughout the week.
